Accountant

The General Ledger Accountant assists the Chief Finance Officer and Finance staff with general ledger activity, recording daily cash receipt deposits, and compiling monthly financial statements; journal entries; A/P and A/R; general ledger accounts and reconciliation; month-end closings; schedules for audits, and payroll processing including taxes and benefits. Desired Education and Experience: BA degree accounting, strong technical accounting background, At least three years general ledger experience required, strong excel and database skills, and other Microsoft Office programs, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and knowledge of non-profit accounting practices and procedures. Prior Health Care (FQHC) experience is plus.
