Child Care Worker

The Child Care Worker, as part of the substance use disorder treatment team, provides child care and supervision for children of clients in residential treatment or permanent supportive housing.  The Child Care Worker promotes the development of children in the childcare setting by engaging children in play and learning activities, promoting health and personal habits, encouraging socialization and positive relationships and behavior, assisting with meals, and maintaining a clean welcoming environment.  Requires an associate degree in early childhood education or equivalent, child care certification, computer skills, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to work with a low-income, diverse population dealing with addiction.
