HR Manager

Cowlitz Family Health Center is looking for an HR Manager to support leadership, supervisors and employees in ensuring the smooth and compliant functioning of the human resource systems and activities of CFHC.  This position reports to the HR Director and is responsible for managing day-to-day HR Department activities including recruitment and retention, employee benefits administration, leave management, responding to concerns and employee relations. The HR Manager works in a fast-paced environment and displays a friendly manner, a commitment to service, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a hands-on Manager position that both leads and supports the HR team.  Requires Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent, PHR, SPHR or SHRM HR Certification, 5-10 years’ HR experience, and at least 3 years’ HR management experience, preferably within the healthcare field. Knowledgeable and proficient in employment law, human resource compliance and best practices. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS knowledge/experience necessary.  Must be a confident, self- directed individual who can work within a team as well as independently.
