Nutrition Assistant

Cowlitz Family Health Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate Nutrition Assistant.

The Nutrition Assistant is responsible for providing a high level of service to women, infants, and children by conducting screenings to determine WIC program eligibility, providing basic nutrition and health information and assisting in the delivery of supplemental foods to WIC program participants. The Nutrition Assistant is also responsible for providing clerical and reception support services for the WIC and Maternity Support Service program within Cowlitz Family Health Center, and is expected to practice to the top of their license or certification. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid unrestricted Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification, Completion of Core WIC Training and competency reviews, 3-5 years previous customer service skills and experience, preferably within an office/clerical setting 2-4 years previous experience in a public health or nutritional setting.
